Filippo is also an organist and improvisator at the organ. He dedicates the fifth perfume to
Marcel Dupré and his Symphonie- Passion, a work in four time born as an improvisation in
1921. Considered almost “Not to be played” because of its extreme difficulty, this symphony
evokes exactly the scent Filippo smelled when he went to Rouen and he approached the organ
inside the Saint Ouen Basilica where Duprés father used to play. That moist and dusty wind,
musky, fresh and spicy that also evokes wooden pipes inside the instrument, get fixed in Filippo
memories and he reintroduces it as extrait de parfum. Bottle and cap are shaded like the color
and the material of that organ box.
Filippo Sorcinelli is a lifestyle brand, the result of contamination between the arts. In 2014, as a tribute to the Atelier LAVS, the first fragrance of the UNUM collection was born, like a sort of olfactory
tailoring, then followed by perfumes dedicated to the artistic passions of their creator: gothic art,
music, photography ... the fog. Filippo Sorcinelli is not only synonymous with niche
fragrances; the company's projects range volcanically in every sector: art, events, fashion,
design, in a concept of lifestyle that embraces different aspects of contemporaneity through
unusual shapes and materials. A journey through spirituality and harmony, in the constant and
audacious search for beauty.
